  1. I am using MakeMKV version 1.18.2, the most updated version of the program

  2. USB Blu-ray drive BD-MLT UJ240AS reads a DVD or Blu-ray disc correctly

    • Matshita

  3. SATA Blu-ray drive BDDVDRW CH20L stalls with ad DVD or Blu-ray disc

    • Hewlett Packard
    • The disc does not stall with Handbrake
    • There is enough power, using an adapter that provides 12v

regression testing?

I'm surprised there wasn't any regression testing to prevent a forced downgrade. Did you try submitting a bug report to the devs?
