shows the two replacement Kenwood batteries that I purchased from
ebay.
Picture 2
shows the original clock battery fitted to my Kenwood radio. This
battery retains the time, and alarm settings when the power is removed
from the radio.
Link showing a fluke 77 Digital Multi-meter identical to the one I have.

shows the resistor I attached to one end of the new battery extending
the leads so they reach between the two battery terminal posts on my
Kenwood radio.

shows the new clock backup battery fitted to my Kenwood radio note the
extended lead on the right hand side made from the leg of an old
resistor I had lying around.
